5 of My Favorite Things Birthday Edition

It's my birthday month, and I'm starting to have freebies come in from all over the Internet.  To celebrate, I wanted to give one of my readers a gift of one of my favorite things -- an Amazon gift card!  There's so many wonderful things on Amazon.  A few of my favorite things lately are:

Kindle Unlimited.  I call this "The Netflix for Books".  Seriously, what can be more fun than to download a new book every time you finish one for one monthly price?  Only certain ones are available on this service, but I'm finding no lack of stuff to read!

This light fan pull set has become a favorite in our household.  At under $9, I am wanting to replace all the light / fan pulls in the house with this.  Just how adorable are these?  And if your fans are anything like ours, they shake and eventually the pulls get in a different position.  There is NO question -- even in the dark -- which you are turning on or off!

Me and My Big Ideas Happy Planner is one of my favorite items.  It has squares the size of an Erin Condren planner, so it's possible to head to Etsy and purchase all kinds of great stickers for planning your life.  I don't know how I would keep my life together without this planner.  There are stickers for EVERYTHING and it's hard for me to stay in budget because, well. . . stickers!

Another under $10 item is this set of four Scotty Peelers.  These are pretty well known in the online selling world as the most wonderful thing to remove yard sale and thrift store pricing stickers.  I use mine after every thrifting trip.  They really do make it so much easier to remove labels.  Plus they save your fingernails!

It's been a very long time since I've mentioned the $5 Toastabags on my blog.  These are an amazing invention that allows you to make grilled cheese in the toaster.  I adore my grilled cheese, and this is such a quick, simple, and easy way to make it -- even kids can do it.  You put a slice of cheese between two slices of bread, slide it in this bag, and pop it in the toaster.  I ate grilled cheese done this way with tomato soup when I was on a diet and losing weight because no butter is needed, but it's much more tasty if you do add a little butter to it once it comes out of the toaster.
