Matthew West's All In Album -- Power! Love! Sound Mind!

I have always loved Matthew West's albums.  They deal with real life.  They give hope, and they have always met or exceeded my expectations.  So when I was given the opportunity to review this album, I immediately was excited about it.

The Album is called All In, but I'm torn between what songs are my favorite.  I believe I have a new "anthem" for my life at the present.  But I'm thinking it's going to be three songs right in a row on this CD.

Track 10:  Power Love Sound Mind
Track 11:  Never Ever Give Up
Track 12:  Dream Again

While I have to admit that one thing that makes these three tracks especially stand out to me is my state is mentioned in Never Ever Give Up.

Since 2013, I feel like I have been living in a nightmare.  In August of that year, the doctor told me that my mother had 10% chance of living and I would likely have to take her off of life support.  Another hospital accepted her as a patient, and she nearly died on the operating table, but she was with us for five more months.  When she passed away in February 2014, I lost my best friend.  I had lived with her all of my 40 years with the exception of when I was in college.  If that wasn't bad enough, I then started having lies told about me, which still affect me today.  I applied for a job recently, and my references weren't even checked, I just didn't get it.  Nor am I approved to volunteer.  I think it's because of all the slander / libel going on about me after Mom passed away -- I live in a small town and everyone thinks they know everything about everyone.  I wish I had pressed charges back then, but statute of limitations have run out.  So the moment I heard the lyrics "Truth is Shouting Louder Than the Lies" I actually started crying.  It gave me hope.  It makes me want to pick up the pieces of my life. I want desperately to move. I am doing everything in my power to make that happen.  But the money just isn't there yet.  But I will NEVER EVER GIVE UP.  Because so many dreams have been shattered but I will DREAM AGAIN.

Quarter four is coming up in a little over a week.  To someone who makes their income online, that terrifies me because I wanted to have so many more items on eBay than I do now.  I wanted to have more T-Shirts designed.  I had hoped to have a bigger audience on my blog than I do.  But I've decided I am going to work 13 hours day DAILY until Christmas to help me achieve my dreams because what is stopping me is money.  During those 13 hour days, I am planning on listening to this trio of songs on this album at least twice each day.

Once again, Matthew West has written an album that has hit it out of the ballpark, and these are the three songs that are most relatable to me.

More about this album:

Matthew’s heart behind the album:
Matthew wrote his new album All In with the goal of encouraging himself and others to
get up off the sidelines of their faith and really live it out – to go all in in your time with
God, all in with your family, all in with your community, and all in battling your fears that
may hold you back from becoming who God made you to be. Along that same theme,
Matthew will be launching a 6-week All in Challenge on his social media starting 9/18,
and each week Matthew will be challenging his fans to go all in in a different part of their
lives. What does it look like when a heart that knows Jesus takes a step and holds
nothing back? How can we go All In in the places that mean the most?
